The Organization for Cooperation Between Railways (OSJD) is an international organization founded on 28 June 1956 in Sofia, Bulgaria, at a session of a conference of government ministers in charge of rail transport from the following countries: People???s Republic of Bulgaria, People???s Republic of Hungary, German Democratic Republic, People???s Republic of China, People???s Democratic Republic of Korea, People???s Republic of Mongolia, Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, and the Czechoslovak Republic.
